While visiting Östersund in Sweeden, I came over this Clover sticking out of some leaves, still struggling against the oncoming winter.

This leaf was posing on the dusty hood of my car this afternoon.

There was something about this leaf that looked so familiar. Of course, an arabesque! (spiral.) I used to do this all the time on the ice!

Using the natural morning sunlight to highlight a leaf

bit disappointed because this was the only half decent thing i've drawn at college in over 6 weeks :/

At a recent clay play day, my guildie Kim showed me how to make a leaf cane.

Azul and I being silly:]

I need a leaf macro for the scavenger hunt, but I'm not sure I really like this one. The color came out wrong.

I love the way the backlighting by the sun bring out the colors in the leaf.

The Leaf is probably one of the best 'affordable' electric cars around. I found a 2012 24Kw Acenta model on AutoTrader with 24,000 miles on the clock for £7250. Range is the only draw back - about 85 miles on a full charge with earlier cars, although the post 2018 cars have a range of about 150 miles, more power and more torque, but are more expensive. Even so, build quality is good, reliability excellent and interior space up there amongst the best in class.

A dead leaf from a tropical plant. I found it outside of my condo. I adjusted the hue/saturation and darkened the edges a little... and put some blur on the right side.

It is lit with one 580ex pointing up from inches below the leaf... and one other inches away on camera left. Both were on auto. Exposure was f22 at 200 sec and ISO400

The detail of a tropical plant leaf at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. I like to think it turned out just fine, especially since I just started to experiment with flash. (Canon Elan 7, Canon EF 28-135mm IS USM, Fuji Velvia 100, Canon Speedlite 420EX flash with diffuser)
