This is a Tabebuia, I think. it looks mostly like a T. rosea. In the pic, the 'small' leaf is a young one and the big foliole is the size of a main mature one. There are many of these trees in Santo Domingo, same individual may have 5-7 leaflets, but mainly 6. There is more info and pics in this link. --- Any brilliant idea will be VERY appreciated. --- As 2 side notes, there are not supposed to be Handroanthus here and I haven't been able to find the reference "allowing" T. rosea to have 6-7 leaflets, I found one once, and I lost it.
Concertina leaflet for a tourist information centre in Mexico. The design had to be modern, elegant and stylish with a luxurious feel to it yet still depicting the good elements of Mexican culture.
