She was convicted of high treason after having been found distributing anti-war leaflets at the University of Munich with her brother Hans. As a result, they were both executed by guillotine.

Winnie Ewing was first elected in the 1967 Hamilton by-election. She served as MP for Hamilton between and 1970. She served as MP for Moray and Nairn between February 1974 and 1979 unseating the then Conservative Secretary of State. She represented the Highlands and Islands served as an SNP MEP for between 1979 and 1999 and was MSP for the Highlands and Islands between 1999 and 2003. These leporello leaflets come with the unusal concept of seven(7!) panels with about 16x9 cm each - very unusal for LEGO leaflets.
The variations differ either in layout (DE-AT-SE-PT) or language (CH-BE) - the concept how to arrange the few words in the red square was apparently not very firm.

HAMBLEDON HILL HOUSE Hambledon Hill Road, Maison Dieu, near Singleton, NSW, Australia.
Completed in 1865, Hambledon Hill House holds considerable local significance as records show the property as a free grant made to Edward, Henry and William Nowland (brothers) in 1824. Surrounding gardens are also of historical significance as several of the trees are believed to be over 130 years old. Hambledon Hill House is a two storey residence built of sandstock brick on stone foundations, with a hipped slate roof, a deep stone paved verandah, small paned windows, louver shutters and French doors opening on to the cast iron balustraded balcony which is typical of the transition period from late Georgian to the Victorian era. The house was once described as “very large to all appearance on entering, yet most conveniently and well arranged despite its twenty nine rooms”.
So the Centre Street Food Pantry needed a leaflet holder, for their leaflets and for local notable charities and helpful services. So instead of having them buy one on their small budget I made one at work. As a nice thought I made a grey scale version of their logo and raster engraved their logo into it.
