My own LDD technique, hope this will be useful! There are also some small tricks for delicate adjustment, but they are used pretty rarely. Waiting for your creations with this stuff integrated in))

Made from lego bricks. (ldd / render)

Kind of "near future car" concept incorporating the 3049 "attic" part as its design keystone.

Vollender is the German word for "perfecter", the car, being loosely inspired by both modern BMWs and BMW 507, roadster of the late fifties, is obviously far from perfect... still, it was a refreshing experience.

As I am not ashamed, for the construction of the Cadillac-car like I did not have time (and has been for a year). I promised to submit its January 31st.

So I teaser again, but no date.

Concepts/WIP Barracks "B"

LDD concepts I'm currently working on creating with real bricks.

Module to include into larger MOC. I'm trying to decide which barracks works the best.

The original model of the Graf Spee I built several years ago.

Recently I have bought a better computer so I am able to built far larger models up to 32K bricks instead of around 23K.

To-scale with the NX-01. This was the first interstellar Enterprise, based on Vulcan designs.

Go make your own :)

Some notes concerning illegal connections:

• Rocket pod: use the tube ends as rocket heads.

• Cannon pod: replace the 65º slope underneath the wing with the belt feed magazine.

• Gun: stick the black tube in the hinge cylinder

• Bomb rack: a 1x2 tile will fit between the bar and the 1x4 plate.

Let me know if you have any trouble building.

Made some updates because I'm always finding something to improve.

Who would win the battle?

and which one is the best looking?

Been a little quiet lately, but don't worry I've been busy nonetheless. Here's just a little preview :)

To be honest, I know not so much about Sonic the Hedgehog's universe, neither a fan of this character. But, actually, there is a couple of reasons why I ended up building this. First one - contest about "blue-coloured" MOCs at russian-speaking LEGO forum (RFFL). Second - recently I spent some time playing Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, and, abstracting from the game setting (because idk anything about most characters in it), it turned out to be pretty nice arcade racing game. So, overall, this MOC may be called a little hommage/tribute.

And, of course, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! =)

Model on Mecabricks.

P.S. I hope I'll manage to upload some more things before this year end, so stay tuned!

It's still the eighth of March in my timezone, aka the International Women's Day. I don't usually do anything in my photostream to commemorate any of the notable dates, although I probably should... so why not start today?

The thing is, there is plenty of notable female characters in various forms of media. And most of them are more than just that. They can be beautiful, powerful, comforting, inspirational, maybe even life-changing. But what's really important to acknowledge is... those awesome characters present merely an initial glimpse into what real women are - an exceptional and priceless part of human society. And they deserve their hard-earned rights, which are, sadly, neglected by many in the modern state of our world.

These four characters - inspired, voiced, portrayed or even made by women, are ones of the most significant for me (for very different reasons, as much as different they are), so I decided to portray them together. From left to right: Elizabeth (BioShock Infinite), Darth Electra (Star Wars Original Character and a very real person behind her), Katara (Avatar: The Last Airbender), Chie Satonaka (Persona 4).

some days ago MDSWIM ! asked me about to make a color variant.

here it is!

Hello people! I announce that I am not dead!

This is a work in progress photo of a tank, it has built-in RC motors and stuff if I ever end up building it IRL.

Now the question is: What tank is this? The one who guesses gets 10 internet points.

I tried to place the roof tile revesely like this dude's k108 but I have no idea how he did it. None the less, I'm quite happy with my result.

Modeled with Lego DIgital Designer, rendered with Simlab Composer 2015.

After Haggar's curse, the black lion was turned into a statue, near the original castle of lions.

I wanted to recreate the environment of the first 80s episodes.

It is not 100% accurate, mainly colors/damages are missing... anyway, i hope you like it!

I also did an animation: youtu.be/2pmo_gkZVfY

As requested, I posted more pictures of the Abrams, I also took the chance to introduce all the possible configurations to the tank as of now.

There are still the Assault Breacher Vehicle and the Joint Assault Bridge left, I'm taking my time to build a suitable diorama for them.

For a (very small) project I'm working on, figured it was about time I made Ahsoka, especially now that her official figure has been revealed.

The troop carrier seen in the 2D Clone Wars cartoon. To-scale with everything else, of course.

A leftover from something which ultimately failed miserably. I still quite like it, even if it never got past this stage.

Some more Imperial ships to go with my fleet, Lancer-class Frigate and Raider-class Corvette

With those 3 uploads, I've nearly finished to put on Flickr my LDD Biotron serie, made in 2015.

I would love to make more LDD creations but for some reasons I've got troubles to make LDD run smoothly on my (prehistoric...) computer, sadly...

A short while ago Matt started the monumental task of reverse-engineering the USS Saratoga in LDD, stating "I merely wanted to try and build it virtually as a learning exercise". Well, he went as far as LDD would let him (illegal connections marked red). Together we refined the LDD and here's the final result.

UPDATE: Due to vynsane's extra effort, the exterior panels will now connect in the LDD. I kept the illegal connections (marked red) in LDD for authenticity. If you want a completed 'renderable' model, go check vynsane's iteration of the LDD.

Didn't take too much work to convert the refit back into the original ship.

The Hispano-Suiza Savanna Master 35M was released two years after the initial production run of the 33T model. The 35M addressed several issues, including an unfortunate flaw in the hydraulic bogies of the front nacelles, which caused premature wear and induced a perceptible yaw in the car steering.

In 2020 I submitted the original Savanna Master to the Idea’s website but it fared pretty poorly, barely gathering 250 supports. When it finally expired, I would lie if I said that I did not feel a little disappointed. But now, watching it in retrospective, I understand that it actually had little chances. Ideas is not a site about mocs. It is about sets.

After expiring, I intended to release the LDD file, but first I wanted to address several issues, including wobbly nacelles and some aesthetic choices that could be improved.

Now it is 2022 and, after so much procrastination, I can finally announce the release of its Lego Digital Designer LDD file!

I think the model can also be opened from Bricklink’s Stud.io, but the most recent parts may fail loading.

If anybody builds a version of it, please show it to me. You’ll make me really happy! :-)

Also been wanting to do this one for a while. Shortened the whole thing as well as adding to the engines, to make it consistent with its appearance in ROTS.

I promised a description before and I promise one again.

I don't keep promises.

Ten points to the person who can note the spot I forgot to finish! Oh wait... we can't note....
