Still working to fix the LCD. Which apparently I broke while replacing the backlight. I can't seem to solder worth crap so I can't get the lcd frame back on.

my 3G iPod's lcd died after about a year and a half of use. No cracks or anything, the lcd just cracked somewhere inside. Getting it fixed by apple costs almost as much as a new one.
Courtsey: In fact nothing is fascinating about this photo except for the idea. The blue tinge is not derived from any extraordinary lighting conditions. I used my LCD screen for that. Actually, the blue part is the wallpaper of the LCD display. The glass of water was placed on the screen while shooting the glass from a 45 degree angle avoiding the violet black tinge that came up with the course of the angle view of the ViewSonic monitor.

We have two spots in our kitchen which need to be replaced. Next time I'm in the shop I'm going to get two of these LCD spots. They will be a lot cooler than the normal spots and will be cheaper to run.
