Little Brown Bird, which I understand is the birder's equivalent of an UFO--or in this case a UPO: unidentified perched object. A very grey day, as you can see, but bright enough to snap this sparrow. I've definitely ruled out about 18 species, which only leaves about a dozen possibilities. Or maybe it's a pipit.

Little Brown Bird or Little Brown Job? Many people describe unidentified sparrows that way. This one, however, has a variety of songs that are beautiful and sweet, and give it both its common and its scientific name. Song Sparrow, Melospiza melodia.

Sadly the chicks are no more after the factory next door removed them 😭 Reported them to Natural Resources Wales who stated that they do have a licence to get rid of gulls but not in the way I described they had removed these (a cherry picker and an extending pole!!). They are now investigating the company.

Built in the 1970s these coaches are used extensively on local and express passenger trains and are mainly used on push pull sets with the De4/4 II motor baggage cars.
These roomy little vans have racks for luggage as well as hooks for backpacks, there is also ample room for bicycles and parcels.

Appears to be a juvenile sparrow of some sort. Nothing is coming to mind, so I'll just call it a Little Brown Bird. Our beautiful world, pass it on.

The electrified sections of the LBB have a variety of transmission infrastructure to feed the power supply to the catenary network. The Traction Substation seen here is one of 8 modern plants that have been built over the last 15 years, they replaced some of the older parts of the network which included Trafo Towers and larger Trafo Houses. The LBB still employs 4 Trafo Towers in locations that it would be too difficult to fit a yard this size or where it's not really needed due to the volume of traffic. The yards are fed by a 66kv 16.7Hz AC supply which is stepped down to 15kv, the switchrooms are fitted with modern power control equipment including Single Phase Vacuum Circuit Breakers.
