Paul was the undisputed king of the café corner. Every morning, he flopped onto the sidewalk, mastering the art of looking dramatically exhausted.
Passersby admired his dedication to laziness. Some took photos, others sighed, envious of his carefree existence. A waiter dropped a croissant crumb nearby. Paul considered moving—then decided against it. Too much effort.
With a deep, world-weary sigh, he embraced his destiny: to be the ultimate café philosopher, contemplating life… one nap at a time.
Today's Kansas temperature is around 93 degrees and very humid with the couple of inches of rain we had the other day. It's 68 degrees inside the house with comfortable furniture to nap on. This 11 year old dog is not stupid. The rabbits in the yard can wait til this evening when it's cooler.
Mabel passed away suddenly the morning of August 28, 2017. Here memory will live on forever on the internet.

I've heard of lazy dog's before, but this, takes the cake! Too tired to lift it's head any longer it found a cushion chair.
My wife and I usually find Chucky sleeping underneath the covers every morning. He loves to burrow underneath the blankets and he will stay under them all day.
He takes a bit of coaxing to finally get out of bed
Yup, it was that kind of day. And on that note, its time to hit the sack. Hope everyone is adjusting to the time change. Me, not quite yet.
