I've taken several photos at LaZy DaZe Surf Beach and I am sad to see it go. I am sure Adam and Krisi have exciting things in the works though and I can't wait to see what they have in store!
the southern california timing association (SCTA) has been hosting land speed racing meets at el mirage dry lake in the mojave desert since 1937. racers come from all over california to test their skills, to see who can go the fastest in 1.3 miles from a standing start. the event is full of colorful cars, bikes and characters.

I was thinking to myself before i take picture, do i need her? Should i sell her? Because i'm having a Poppys overload, but after i've done this shoot, she's staying. So cute and reminded me of Trés Chic Boutique ( who i stupidly sold ) and Pillow Talk all combine 💙

Two California rigs heading down the pass below Red Cone Peak. This isn't the most dangerous road around but if you do go over the edge it will be one very wild and likely final ride. Photo by my late friend Jim Elkin.
I once rode over this pass in deep snow on a Honda XR650L with a passenger and that may be part of why she's now my ex-wife. Oh well, it was exciting.
