Meerkats:
Meerkats come from very dry regions of southern Africa.
Meerkats are immune to scorpion venom and can run at a speed of up to 37 miles per hour.
You can’t make a pet of them as they are very possessive and will mark their owner with urine or bite any stranger.
The weekend is over, and who really wants to go back to work???.....I certainly don't! So...I called in sick. Today is going to be me, lots of snacks, movies and the sofa. I am taking me a Lazy Monday!

#72/365 Post Process Fridays episode #7. What I wouldn't give for a lazy Sunday in New York. This week features a great photo from my fiend Kurt aka Kemnik. I liked shot the first time I saw it. I've only been to NY twice yet as soon as I saw this shot I knew exactly where it was taken...Central park! And FYI I don't think I have ever dodged and burn so much in my life! Hope you like this as much as I do. If I could fav my own post I would :)
The Labor Day weekend is here for the US and Canada. Something of the "end of Summer" holiday for us. It leaves me longing again for our delightful vacation days a few months back. Those were great days and I love the light and faces in this photo :-)

Mir ist nicht ganz klar, ob die Burschen nur müde vom Tag waren oder sie schon nicht mehr ganz paarungsbereit sind. Werde das noch in den nächsten Tagen beobachten.
Die Art ist nicht klar, da es zu viele Hybriden bei den Grünfröschen gibt. Für einen Seefrosch ist dieser aber auch deutlich zu klein.
