One of many volcanic outcrops on our coast. A view enjoyed while walking with my wifeon a warm autumn day. Our autumn has been one of the warmest on record ie over 100 years.
Thanks especially for comments!

This is a portrait of a local lawyer for an upcoming magazine article. Like most assignments i was not given much info or guidelines, just get a cool shot.
I used one sb28 flash on a sc17 cord and bounced it off the wall to the left of him. The background was ambient light.
Since i will not have time to do a shot for the background assignment, this will have to be my entry.
