An image from couple of years ago. Went to photograph the lavender but I was more impressed with the sunflowers right next to it
A visit to a Lavender Farm today in Prince Edward County, Ontario, luckily I brought my crystal ball along!

Lavender field at dusk in Faulkland, Somerset, UK, just before the rising full moon...I fondly remember this place and that evening.
Lavendelfeld während der Abenddämmerung in Faulkland/Somerset/UK, unmittelbar vor dem aufgehenden Vollmond...denke gerne an diesen Ort und den Abend zurück.
At Gower Fresh Christmas Trees - Lavender Farm. This is an arch created specifically for people to take photos of their children, dogs, themselves etc.etc. This is a side view of it, if you like because I was afraid of getting in people's way
The lavender crop is just about ready to harvest at South Bay Fields Lavender Farm but the honey bees are still working hard.
'Bonzo' just would not pose for the camera, hence the slightly OOF shot, so the owner went and had a photo of him taken by a professional photographer carrying a Canon L Series 200mm lens...
Another from the Lavender Farm at Gower Fresh Christmas Trees
Definitely saw the rhythm of nature while taking in this view which included three stages of these huge, King Protea flowers (bud, partially and lastly more fully bloomed). Although they originate from South Africa, they thrive in the Hawaiian climate with the flowers growing up to 12" in size (these were much smaller than that). I was blown away at how many different colors and styles of proteas and other flowers we saw at the Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm in upcountry Maui. The vistas, flora and fauna , peaceful setting and nice gift shop combine to make it a wonderful place to visit.
