It has been very hot outside, and our trainer let us do some pace training exercises. My running partner Kurt and I crawled on all fours, and our trainer told us: "No matter that you are lame ducks. You know that I will always love you.". Isn't he cute? ;-)

Mit der Laufgruppe auf der Kieler Woche. Nervig, die Gläser wieder loszuwerden. Man konnte sie nur dort abgeben, wo man auch das Getränk gekauft hatte. Aber wenn man weiß, wie es geht... ;-)

I've been with my running group at the christmas market. Too much hot wine punch with a shot of nut vodka.

This is January and not June. Unprecedented warm weather.

Heute hat Dominic uns wieder gequält ;-) => Today our Trainer Dominic plagued us again.

We had to to some interval training sessions. I hate this, but I have to admit that I would never do this for myself and I love it when it's over ;-)

We made a special training in our running group: We had to run a course, and because of the different distances between the bars we looked like members of the Ministry of Silly Walks. ;-)

The best runnign group ever. In the last time we met more often to party than for running. Hard to say what is more amusing. On Monday, 11/06/20, we made our training, on Tuesday we painted the town red - it was Kieler Woch, the biggest festival in Northern Europe.

It's every year in the last week of June, and more than three million people from 70 countries visit this summer festival in Kiel.

200405: This is so typical for me! I took a shower in the morning, then I wanted to tidy up the balcony a bit and put some flower pots in the cellar. There I noticed that it could be cleaned up and in no time I was standing in a cloud of dust. Perfect timing. Don't. Is this only happening to me?

200405: Das ist wieder typisch ich. Ich habe morgens geduscht, dann wollte ich den Balkon ein bisschen aufräumen und einige Blumentöpfe in den Keller stellen. Dort bemerkte ich, dass dort auch mal aufgeräumt werden könnte, und im Nu stand ich in einer fetten Staubwolke. Perfektes Timing. Nicht. Passiert das nur mir?

Right side: In our 3-K group (Kathrin, Kathrin, Kurt) it's law that we tell each other if we can't make it to the running group. Bad weather as a reason does not really count. Only when it rains really hard, it can happen that one of us says "Mimimi"... ...but nobody wants to be the first sissy.

191010: What could be better than running in rain and wind? When it is over. Our new trainer Alina in the sports club KMTV had a difficult start in the bad weather. Due to her nice way of training, she motivated us to make some intermittent runs.

191010: Was gibt es schöneres, als bei Regen und Wind zu laufen? Wenn es vorbei ist. Unsere neue Trainerin Alina beim KMTV hatte bei dem Sauwetter einen schweren Start. Durch ihre nette Art hat sie es aber geschafft, uns zu Intervallläufen zu motivieren! Wer Lust hat, mit uns in Kiel zu laufen: Immer dienstags und donnertags ab 18:30 beim KMTV (Dienstag freies Training, Donnerstag mit Trainerin).

21.3.2020: Understanding seems to have nothing to do with intelligence. There are still people who do not understand. Hey, I don't care if you believe in conspiracy theories or think you don't have to play by the rules because racism and hunger are much worse than Corona. Please just stick to them and don't act like you've been banned from everything. You can still go out. With your partner and with your family. But keep distance to others. Thank you.
