The 19th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Week kicked-off rehearsals today with the following artists: Ana de la Reguera, Carlos Rivera, Kany Garcia, J Balvin, Carla Morrison, Nicky Jam, Steve Aoki, Maná, Jorge Drexler, Mon Laferte, Natalia Lafourcade and El David Aguilar.
The Latin Recording Academy® Leading Ladies of Entertainment Leading Ladies of Entertainment is a luncheon honoring and recognizing professional women within the arts and entertainment industries who have made significant contributions to their fields and/or have distinguished themselves through their social and philanthropic efforts.
Gloria Calzada hosted this year’s luncheon which recognized four women:
Rebbeca Gomez (Becky G), Award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress.
Cynthia Hudson, Senior Vice President and General Manager, CNN en Español and Hispanic Strategy for CNN/U.S.

"Los Grammies atraves de los ojos de Sandra Kratc" Day 2 #enlamezcla P&E Wing Cocktail Party honoring @schmitt.al at @palms Tuesday, November 13, 2018 8:30pm-11pm. It was an honor being there in the presence of such an amazing engineer 😍😍😍. I tried to take a selfie with dear Al, but Berenice "happen" to take him away everytime it was my turn. But I managed to take some photos with other colleagues throughout the night:

3. Me trying to chase Berenice as she tried to escort Al somewhere in the room, blurry but hey something to show @kamilokratc, he was happy I was going to attend this year's En La Mezcla when we found out, Mr Schmitt will be present.

6. Pioneer DJ one of the sponsors of the event, had some DJ tables in the back of the room where guests could play around with their creativity.

El presidente de la Junta, Juanma Moreno, ha asistido al concierto de ‘Latin Grammy Celebra: La Música de Andalucía’ en el Cartuja Center de Sevilla y en el que actúan ocho andaluces y andaluzas que cuentan con la Medalla de Andalucía como son Carmen Linares, David Bisbal, Niña Pastori, Manuel Carrasco, Vanesa Martín, India Martínez, Arcángel y Pastora Soler y los Hijos Predilectos de Andalucía, Manuel Alejandro y Miguel Ríos.
Con este concierto se continua con el calendario de eventos previsto dentro de la alianza de tres años programada con la Academia Latina de la Grabación en 2023, una alianza que fue todo un hito en la historia de los Grammy Latinos, siendo Andalucía y Sevilla la primera plaza en acoger estos prestigiosos premios fuera de los EEUU.
A ello, además, se sumaron actos relevantes en Sevilla, Málaga, Granada y Cádiz que han dejado, en conjunto, un impacto económico cercano a los 200 millones de euros.
Moreno ha afirmado que es un orgullo que los Latin Grammy hayan venido a Andalucía y un reto con el que ha quedado demostrado que Andalucía sabe organizar grandes eventos de estas características.
Así, se ha mostrado muy orgulloso del “viaje en el tiempo” que se va a hacer hoy en este concierto de la mano de muchos artistas andaluces y ha puesto en valor que actos así contribuyan a proyectar la Marca Andalucía en todo el mundo.
El presidente andaluz ha señalado que desde el Gobierno andaluz se está trabajando para que los Latin Grammy vuelvan de nuevo a Andalucía. “Hemos dejado un buen recuerdo y muy buen sabor de boca y, aunque hay mucha competencia para celebrarlo en otros lugares, Andalucía tiene capacidades y potencialidades para que estos premios vuelvan de nuevo a esta comunidad”, ha agregado.

I was nominated this year at the Latin Grammys and we assisted to Las Vegas to the event, I had 2 personal nominations as Best Album and Best Record of the year, also Andres Cepeda Album that I mixed was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album and we won! (yeah!) so we have another Latin Grammy.
The experience was just wonderful, emotive, filled with emotions and great moments next to many friends and colleagues. We where very happy that we assisted, Being nominated was already great treat, but i cant lie that it feels nice to have won one :-)
Photo Stuff: I took my new (to me) Canon G15 compact, as at all these events, big cameras are a big No No, I have to say this little camera is a big surprise, not only practical, light and compact to carry, much nicer results than expected, Not my Full Frame Nikon D600 by any stretch, but got the job done, mostly shot RAW, developed in LR4
