This was the first view we discovered as we arrived, late afternoon, at the shores of the Lake Titicaca. The sky was magical!
As the seasons change, some low-lying clouds remind me that stormy days are ahead. But for now, I enjoy the September colors at the end of the day.

Late afternoon in Coyote Buttes South area (Cottonwood Trailhead).
In the distant background burned a large fire, probably a forest fire near the Zion National Park. The smoke attracted miles to the Vermilion Cliffs.
Später Nachmittag in den Coyote Buttes South (Cottonwood Trailhead).
Im fernen Hintergrund brannte ein großes Feuer, vermutlich ein Waldbrand in der Nähe des Zion National Parks. Die Rauchschwaden zogen meilenweit bis zu den Vermilion Cliffs.

This leopard was scouting the savannah for prey up on it's tree
lookout in late afternoon.
A minute later it came down and started to walk towards its prey.
