I started lashing and strapping everything down that I could and putting in the house or shed what I could - hopefully Hanna will lose a lot of its punch before it hits us - last time we had a direct hit I was without power for 15 days.

I secured the garden swing.

The evening sun was lashing golden light on autumn colors around and couldn't help but just compose this way with my shadow to get the leading path combo .. Somehow I like this shadow now :)

Learning lashing

It's a known fact within our family that my brother has a ridiculously long tongue....guy can pretty much clean his forehead with it. But....on a body-height-to-tongue-ratio, I think this little guy might have him beat. Sorry Matt - secret's out, buddy.
