I decided I needed to try making something for Rainier (30" BJD by Kimberly Lasher) while she's here for a visit. I came up with this 3-piece outfit in a cotton moiré. Bridal appliques have been added to the hat and the dress collar.

My most prized possessions omg

Nos.57009 & 37501 are seen here in more West Cumbrian rain passing Workington Main No.2 box and skirting the remnants of the town's once extensive freight yard.

Lashes are flying off all over the place

Pretty much straight out of the camera... I tried messing with it a little bit but kept reverting back to the original.

and chunky baby arms ♥

so lucky to see the babies, I photograph, grow up. I sneak in snaps mid session b/c really it's not all "look at the camera and smile" moments that life is about.

Breaking the rule of thirds

My absolute favorite shots to do....I love the details. Parents might not order them big for their walls but they make such lovely album layouts when combined with the other shots I do.

Fake lashes : Urban outfitters

one of the tedious rituals for a wedding preparation, but something that photographers love

This is my practice head DF-H Suxun with a face-up I have done. You see uneven lines?^^ Sure. Badly done lashes? Right. Ugly eyebrows? Maybe. I'm my biggest hypercritic so I know where I lack.

Anyway, I enjoyed it so much and that's the most important thing. I thought I could take some pics of him before I wipe the face-up again and had the idea of a temporary doll project.

I will be facing some changes in my life in the near future. At the end of the week I will finish my last student internship. I'm done with all courses and projects so there is only my Master thesis left, I plan to start working on it next week. I hope to finish it by next spring to get my Master degree.

And then?

Serious life will begin - moving for a job, earning money, get old, be dead.

That's how I feel at the moment. Sweet student life melts away with every day and winter is coming. I hate freezing, you know.

Which leads back to the pics. I wanted to catch this fear of imminent changes. You can't do anything, you just feel cold.
