This is my Executive Series "Advanced" laser (review) from Wicked Lasers and the LaserShades safety goggles (review) that came with it. This laser is designed to output 35 mW of 532 nm light but I have been told that this particular unit peaks around 75 mW.

This is the Wicked Lasers Executive Series "Advanced" laser that I received in August 2007. As you can see, it has taken quite a bit of abuse over the last two years. The performance hasn't changed much, though.

Yup, this is what it's come to, I'm afraid. Taking the cat toy laser pointer and shining it into the camera.

I got mixed results, these were the best.

Dumbdumb usually gets crazy about laser pointer, but once in a while he'll just relax and prepare himself for his next chase.

Very affordable presentation remote and laser pointer. Worked like a charm during my "A Photo a Day..." talk at the Westchester Photographic Society

Hades Series blue laser pointer 445nm

Here is example of cheap chinese laserpointer reading more than 5 mW, but not at 532 nm! The reason for that is lack of proper IR filter (or no IR filter at all?).

Edit: Most of the green light removed by attaching piece of VHS tape. :D

SKYlasers 100mw red laser pointer brightness

Day 17 of my contributions to Mostly365.com.

For today's shot, I used a laser pointer to light the outside of my mantle clock. The shot was in complete darkness using a bulb (manual) exposure. The photo has no post-processing.

I think the result is a lot of fun.

Trying to setup some establishing shots for a video I'm making, and this is one of them. Painting done with a laser pointer. SOOC as standard.
