My old dell M1210 (3 years old now) has slowed down to a crawl. For the past few weeks it has been freezing every time it tries to run multiple applications, such as anti-virus, backup, spotify, etc.
This has been getting on my nerves now, so I spent a few hours today changing computers temporarily until my new Sony S 13" with the Intel Core i5 chip arrives. I can't wait!

Finally-- after 2 years of using the craptop-- i can afford a new laptop. It's a Turion64 because everybody knows that Intel sucks.
HP Pavilion dv500 laptop without which I would be completely unable to function. It is a little beat up these days, but I love the wide screen. Made in China. Screen Display.
This is my second laptop, a Dell Inspiron 6400, purchased in June of 2007. It's a great improvement over my previous laptop, and I'm very happy with it.

my new laptop I received as a gift from my parents. Windows Vista 64bit and 4GB of memory. I am looking at getting the 8GB memory upgrade but have to wait for the price to come down 700 bucks on memory is a little high. Loads photoshop much faster than my other laptop :)
Just the live CD for now.
I need to get this installed ASAP though. I hope I can get the touch screen working, then I can at least have a dual boot. I'm reluctant to ditch windows because of ArtRage, though...
I swear the touch pad works better than it does in Windows!
