“It happens like this.
"One day you meet someone and for some inexplicable reason, you feel more connected to this stranger than anyone else--closer to them than your closest family. Perhaps this person carries within them an angel--one sent to you for some higher purpose; to teach you an important lesson or to keep you safe during a perilous time. What you must do is trust in them--even if they come hand in hand with pain or suffering--the reason for their presence will become clear in due time."
Though here is a word of warning--you may grow to love this person but remember they are not yours to keep. Their purpose isn't to save you but to show you how to save yourself. And once this is fulfilled; the halo lifts and the angel leaves their body as the person exits your life. They will be a stranger to you once more.
“It's so dark right now, I can't see any light around me.
That's because the light is coming from you. You can't see it but everyone else can.”

LOVE CAN BUILD A BRIDGE – CHER, CHRISSIE HYNDE & NENEH CHERRY with ERIC CLAPTON
ANGELS & PRAYERS
From childhood I have said my prayers
and no-one is forgotten
I pray for those I knew before
I pray for those as often
as the ones I pray for in this moment
the ones I know today
everyone needs hope and love
to ease our paths; our way
pray with me now; pray Christmas Day
and all the days to come
that we shall all know peace and love
and all come safely home
In church today I met a lady
so kind; so open; warm
her light shone brightly in her smile
her demeanour tranquil; calm
twice in my life I met someone
whose aura I could bathe in
who left me feeling loved; serene
who washed away my sins
angels come in many guises
some clear and some obscure
but welcome all with open eyes
let heart and soul procure
the goodness that we know exists
the lightening of our road
no need to suffer; no need for silence
a trouble shared will ease the load
the incredible lightness of being we yearn for
can be ours for the asking
so always walk in good; in light
and never fear the darkness.

Forget Me Not.
The choice was once
your choosing,
before losing
became my loss.
I was there in
your forgetting-
until I was forgot.

July 18th, 2021
I had a terrible nights sleep, my crappy mood plus anxiety didn’t make for a great combo.
I was feeling really good about my body this morning and took some great pics but am too pussy to post them.
I did some shopping which I didn’t need to but I DID need some serotonin so whatever. I went to TJMaxx because I haven’t been in months. I got nail polish per usual but also a cute purse to go with the dress I’m planning to wear when I go to NYC for my birthday. I’m in the process of finding new shampoo bc OGX apparently has terrible chemicals which is just GREAT bc I’ve been using them forever. So I got new shampoo and conditioner and candles at Target. Then I headed over to Barnes & Noble, and I really just went because it gives me a sense of peace. But I wandered around for a while and ended up getting Into the Water by Paula Hawkins. I haven’t read a fiction book in ages so I’m excited.
The rest of the day I just loafed around. I did some laundry and dishes and then started watching Curb Your Enthusiasm. I’ve seen a lot of episodes between my dad and Chris watching it but I’ve never seen it all the way through. I love Seinfeld so it’s an obvious choice.
I did a little reading but I did NOT start reading my new book lol. I wasn’t feeling like making a commitment so instead I revisited Lullabies by @langleav.
Broken Hearts
I know you’ve lost someone and it hurts. You may have lost them suddenly, unexpectedly. Or perhaps you began losing pieces of them until one day, there was nothing left. You may have known them all your life or you may have barely known them at all. Either way, it is irrelevant—you cannot control the depth of a wound another inflicts upon you.
Which is why I am not here to tell you tomorrow will be a new day. That the sun will go on shining. Or there are plenty of fish in the sea. What I will tell you is this; it’s okay to be hurting as much as you are. What you are feeling is not only completely valid but necessary—because it makes you so much more human. And though I can’t promise it will get better any time soon, I can tell you that it will—eventually. For now, all you can do is take your time. Take all the time you need.

langleav: pierce-the-sunset: doctorpotterbaggins: There has been a terrible lack of posts recognizing the Philippine Typhoon and that’s why I’m making this post. The Philippines just had the WORST typhoon in history called, Haiyan. Now if you have no idea about the severity, the wind speeds of this typhoon was about 250 mph, which is THREE AND A HALF TIMES THE SPEED OF THE WINDS OF HURRICANE KATRINA. imagine the damage Katrina did to the US, a developed country. The Philippines is a Third world country. Most of the people in this country live in SHACKS MADE OUT OF TRASH. It is estimated that about 10,000 PEOPLE DIED. Dead bodies literally litter the streets and are STUCK IN TREES. IF YOU GIVE ANY SHITS TODAY ABOUT FELLOW HUMANITY YOU BETTER REBLOG THIS. IM NOT ONLY DOING THIS BECAUSE MY FAMILY IS FILIPINO BUT BECAUSE THIS STORM WAS THE WORST IN HISTORY. GOD BLESS THE SOULS LOST THERE. My parents were seriously almost on the verge of tears and almost screaming. We didn’t lose anybody in our family, but it has got to hurt to know that the place you came from is IN SHAMBLES. Pls spread this if you care I have a lot of Filipino friends and people I cherish a lot! If you could donate to the cause that would be great! PLEASE HELP! Part 3 from Lang Leav's beautiful book Love & Misadventure.
He & I:
When words run dry,
he does not try,
nor do I.
We are on par.
He just is,
I just am,
and we just are.
-Lang Leav, page 113 from Love & Misadventure
I will be posting a love themed photograph every day between February 1st to 14th as a way to celebrate Valentine's Day!
Shrinking in a corner,
pressed into a wall;
do they know I'm present,
am I here at all?
Is there a written rule book
that tells you how to be‐
all the right things to talk about‐
that everyone has but me?
Slowly I am withering‐
a flower deprived of sun;
longing to belong to,
somewhere or someone.

I yearn to learn
how his tide is turned.
To understand
each grain of sand
he knows.
To move in rhythm
with his ebb and flow.
