It is wise to look in the other direction when photographing sunset.

Bench on the Kaitersberg. I wouldn't want to sit on it now with all that snow.

A quick note to all who wish to photograph the Northern Lights, it is very rare that they can be seen like this with the naked eye.

Dritvík was one of the largest fishing station in Iceland for centuries with up to 60 fishing boats, almost as many huts and full of life. From the middle of the 16th century up to 400 persons lived here during the fishing season and this continued until the early 20th century.

Þverbrekkuhnjúkur í Öxnadal

As the days are getting shorter there come days like this, where the colours in the clouds are those of sunrise until it is colours of the sunset. Here the sun is actually at it highest. I can not see it, because law clouds in the south, threatening with rain.

The whole day without direct sunshine, but the sunrise going into sunset. Sometimes these shortest days are just endless beauty

There is only a short while from last two photos, but the light changed from moment to moment
