'Endless Paths Of The Romans' - Wait some minutes to view this pics, feel the moment!
Lots of crickets chirping at the wayside.. It´s as if I could feel them all here, could they listen.. The vastness of the country which actually symbolizes freedom has long since become obligation. Imagine only once before you go this way, now whether you like it or not, anyone interested in it. Behind you, you have far more than a thousand kilometers and high mountains, You feel every stone, your body hurts, you only have sandals and dragging weight, up front there is another forest, every moment people can appear out of nowhere, men who attack you mercilessly with bow and spear, and you go on and on, in front of you the constant certainness, the oppressive uncertainty, and the thought that if you ever again, perhaps in one, two, or three years this endless way back home can go.. Imagine you're the Romans and now go on this way.
How good it´s to be able to walk away today along with. How beautiful it´s today but, walk along this path without fear, how wonderful it is to be able to walk on this path today without fear, how wonderful it´s but the freedom. Today all pass by such ways, many of them do not even feel truly free?!? - Could you feel the freedoms?

Description: For some time I am interested in landscape photography. Fortunately the wonderful Palatinate Forest lies directly near my hometown Mannheim.
I had therefore some time the idea to come here to take pictures. Last weekend it was finally over.
After a short research I found the Rehberg Tower, which is about an hour drive away from Mannheim.
The weather forecast said the next morning will be a foggy sunrise and there should be a sunny autumn day.
This was my chance!!! On Sunday morning the alarm should ring at 5:00 am, but I was already awake at 4:30 am.
Shortly after 5:00 am I then got into the car and had arrived due to a blocked road and my lack of local knowledge with a little delay in the parking area in the dark forest. Another car was already there, so I was not the only freak here that morning. ;)
I had to hurry, since I knew neither the paths nor the duration of the climb to the Rehbergtower accurate. After a short orientation with the flashlight I grabbed my gear and went into the dark forest with quick steps to the top of the hill.
After about 40 minutes I reached the top just in time at 7:00am before sunrise, where already were other photographers and a misty view.
But the weather god smiled on us, because the rising sun broke the fog and offered us a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Palatinate Forest and the castle of Trifels, which was surrounded by fog. All the effort was worth it, as you can see. Thus, there is nothing against more crazy trips in the future. ;)
Finally, I want to recommend you the Facebook page of Thorsten Walk, whom I met on this trip. Great landscape photos from the Pfalz!

’Always Up And Down Again’ - [Special Series: 'Trails Of Life'.. ]
If you want to stop time.. if you wishing you that it never passes more.. you just do not want it to go downhill again, because you're standing at the top at last..
If you want to continue turning the time soon.. if you wishing you, that she jumps forward.. you just keep going in life, because you all, have arrived at the bottom ..
Whenever you do the time no further'll notice, it is simply not there.. it goes downhill and at some point in life somehow looking up.. it goes over and over again uphill and downhill..
If you're dreaming of it to stop time, just because they get bored you too.. just forget it.. rather enjoy every moment.. and watch out.. soon it's back again to the top ..
.. whenever you want to stop time, she runs off to you.. and who stops.. rusts..
Have fun and a great day! ;-)

'Mystical Spanish Skyline' - ['Sometimes The World Is Blue' ..]
Late one very hot afternoon in 'La Cala' near Benidorm, Spain.. if you strongly hides the sun by the sparkle in the water.. when you fly with a helicopter low over the water.. you see between the sea and the mountains a silhouette, a wall of skycrapers. It looks as the world only would have one color..slate blue.. it´s so mystical.. almost like a ghost town.. perhaps I had for some strange reason a bad dream only.. perhaps.. ;-)

'Perhaps to Sacramento' - [Special Series: 'Trails Of Life'.. ]
It happened on an ordinary summer day in Bavaria.. You can see them not even likely to see.. she is among us.. no one observes it many people simply ignore them as long as it remains alone.. and she is.. alone and in the middle of the heated asphalt from the sun, she stops abruptly when she saw me.. the little ant in the field next door.
As it stands now, looking out over millions of small hills which it shows the road.. she looks into the distance and dream their eternal dreams.. she dreams of Philadelphia.. Sydney.. Singapore.. will love to see the volcanoes of Hawaii and times.. She often thinks of her family, at home in faraway Italy.
She dreamed the past as it out into the world to draw.. a truck on which they quickly scrambled just to see for food.. He drove off suddenly.. he took them with me, up here after Bayern.. where, quite tired from the long journey, had fallen from the loading edge.
Days later, she is far away from home and still dreaming of the beautiful places of the earth that they had found in books as a child.. she thinks wistfully of their former tribal hill is sad that her friends are not with her. You always wanted to completely overcome long way. But now they could be from their wishes and goals only further away than it depending dream home. When she then secretly at the top of its hill was to finally even to see this strange distance, from which all spoke in the heap forever. and they caught it.. they said to her.. it would have to stay here forever.
But today it is far away, although it has not landed where they wanted to go actually, but they may also be glad to have finally gone and look into the distance from where they will. The air shimmers just above the surface of the roads and the little ant decides for itself on this path to follow.. they should so like to, Sacramento '.. looks ahead and moves boldly go.. I wish you good luck on your journey, little ant, I said, turn around and moving on in a different direction!
Have fun and a great time! ;-)

Location: Lake Constance, Mettnau Island, Radolfzell, Germany
Nun hieß es also Objekte ins Bild tragen. Wild Lake…;)
The story behind this photo: I remember it well. It was a stormy late afternoon. I was walking up and down the shore of Lake Constance near the Mettnau peninsula, trying to find a suitable foreground element for a successful landscape photo. No rowing boat far and wide, nothing interesting to break the wide scenery and to set a focus. Unfortunately, I had also forgotten my tripod plate, bad thing. So the first thing I did was to build a "tripod" out of stones for my camera, quite far down on the ground, to be able to take a low-pov long exposure. So now I had no choice but to redesign the outer scenery. The shore sloped down very shallowly and my clothes were already quite soaked. So now it was a matter of carrying objects into the picture. These stones were really heavy and two or three stones were not enough. So it became a real lesson and in the end I had quite a decent workout behind me. You can't just throw stones like that anywhere. It should also have look nice. So it was really work. Then I put a filter on the camera and shot. Wild Lake…;)

Of course I spontaneously wanted something for all of us during the difficult time - which I will not say - otherwise the wish is not fulfilled!
One from a few months back.
I have re worked it as i wasn't 100% happy with the original
it looks far more dramatic now.
As ever my black and white images and landscapes in general are inspired by the great Ansel Adams.

'Seekers Will Always Find The Light'
Where are they? I can see no one, no one heard, am all alone here and I look calm on the surface. Nothing to see, nowhere would say many people now and at the same time turn away again. I linger a bit, look out and discover just how beautiful the sunlight is reflected in the water and begins to glisten, almost as if it would come directly from the water itself up. The usually encountered in this place fabulous colors, they are simply absorbed and there is nothing left.. but nothing that is not nowhere!
I remember how easily and often you can see a light in life, if you are not hurrying, is where you are and simply opens his eyes only. Despite the cold, the heat in me doing bigger and bigger.. I start to smile and be happy.. to be happy about the nowhere, is not nowhere and many do not see.. - Look back even if someone says to you: There's nothing to see! ;-)
Have a fantastic weekend! ;-)

'The Kings Dreams'
Many people from all of the world loves the 'Neuschwanstein Castle'! It´s so wonderful and majestetic, I like the color and the fantastic architecture, the most beautiful it looks in the late sunlight. Here you see the building in which the main gate to the castle is the main gate, viewed from the inside out. The Castle is a 19th-century Bavarian palace on a rugged hill. The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as an homage to Richard Wagner, the King's inspiring muse. Although public photography of the interior is not permitted, it is the most photographed building in Germany and is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations.

'My Home Is My Castle' - [Special Series: 'Colors Of Our World'.. ]
When autumn seizes the world in bright colors, and the sky is bright blue is the best time too visit this place. One can see from the castle deep in the Bavarian inland. It is a small, little-known hiking trail up to the Castle but also a road to let the people in the horse-drawn carriage ride to the top. And there are warning signs in several languages, even in Chinese. In the summers are often very many people there, I like the magic square.
The best way I like it in the fall, with the fantastic colors, as here, or in winter when everything has sunk in deep snow. It must have been there once in life! The probably the most beautiful Castle in the world, the fantastic fairy-tale castle 'Neuschwanstein Castle' in Bavaria, Germany - the Castel from the Bavarian fairytale King Ludwig II. The Castle is a 19th-century Bavarian palace on a rugged hill.
