Today it´s too cold to go out and shot, mayby better later, but here it´s an old image from my winterlandscape.

A tiny chapel, with a red-tiled roof and whitewashed walls, stands alone on a ridge between sun and shadows, while the winding road passes it quietly and respectfully. Karpathos Island, Greece.

We weren't planning to visit Joshua Tree National Park. We were supposed to be in Zion, but unforeseen circumstances made us turn left just south of the Grand Canyon and drive across the California desert instead.

We ended up driving through Joshua Tree from the south entrance. That might have been a mistake. All of the really cool stuff seems to be in the north, so while I dawdled at every turn, the sun kept marching across the sky. And by the time the desert sky really started showing off, we were barely getting into the heart of the park.

We set up quickly and started shooting. I have a few shots of an ordinary (poetic) sunset in Joshua Tree, but this one and it's sister picture - "Let Me Play Amongst The Stars" - were my favorites.

Happy shooting!

Today was a good day for a nice bike ride in my area... I love this.

Another view from last weekends early morning at Ladybower reservoir with a little more foreground framing.

Light was subtlety diffused with the last of the overnight mist a true autumn morning

Been a while since I took my camera out and about. Bit rusty need to get back in the swing, last few months of restrictions and lockdown got in the way

Habitat: Meadows and gardens - especially where mint, thyme or marjoram is present.

Mint moths have purple forewings with one, two or three yellow spots across the middle. The underwings are almost black with a yellow band running across.
