This weekend my hometown will be partying!
In February/March the restrictions and caution kept the main official events of our Carnival, but not the popular celebrations in the streets or clubs, as well as the big Carnival Parade across the city.
It's weird to think about Carnival in summer, but hey! the weather is much better! Yay!
So with that mood Anthem's "Wild West" themed July round comes very handy and inspiring!
I was looking for Cowgirl names and found THIS

Privilege Style EC-MUA named "Auria " Boeing 777-200 touching down at Dublin where its been based for the last few weeks, until 14th August.
Currently on hire to Aer Lingus, religiously operating the morning EI562 to Barcelona & then afternoon EI779 to Lanzarote seven days a week, since the 11th July, quite an upgrade from the usual Shamrock A320.
Originally delivered to Singapore Airlines in July 2021, now with Spanish based Privilege who specialise in ad hoc charters & a favourite with Aer Lingus, who were using one of their 757's the previous week as they grapple with covid staff shortages & increased summer flights.

Extending its range, British Airways Boeing 777-300ER G-STBG on finals to London Heathrow in May 2015.
This aircraft is poised to make a rare 777 appearance on the London-Dublin route on Sunday 5th March 2023 operating BA834/835.
BA's busy London/Dublin route is usually operated by their short haul airbus A319/320/321 fleet but due to a cargo contract, two flights this week were tasked with long haul 777-300ER's.

Fine maggio, e anche oggi piove.
Anche oggi il cielo minaccia pioggia. Sembra una giornata d'inverno e invece siamo alla fine di maggio!
Ma poi il sole arriverà, basta saper aspettare.

A very "heavy" over Hatton Cross as the sun sets.
Not the typical Aer Lingus A320 on finals into Heathrow, Aer Lingus have been using their transatlantic A330 fleet on some evening trips between Dublin & Heathrow, namely their EI182/183 & later EI178/179 since the pandemic with all the extra air freight stuffed in the belly.
EI-GAJ " St Carthage / Mochuta ", an A330-330 usually found further afield in the likes of San Fransicso & Los Angelas on finals for 27L at Heathrow passes over Hatton Cross tube & bus station, just shy of the airport perimeter fence on Shamrock 182 from Dublin.

Here's the first MOC, from Toy Story, Mr. Mike.
Pixar is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. To pay tribute to 25 years of creativity and wonderment, I built a LEGO creation for each of Pixar’s feature films (even some that haven’t been released yet). My “Celebrating 25 Years of Pixar” display is currently being featured in the “Window to the Community" of the South Coast Plaza LEGO Store. If you’re in the area I hope you’ll check it out.
Look for detailed pics of all the builds in about a month or so when my display period is over.
You can find Toy Story figs (and support my building) at my Bricklink store, Graznador's Block Party.

Gately's department store (Gately’s People Store, once located at 11201 South Michigan Avenue at East 112th Street) with its five-story parking garage is visible near the center of the image. Numerous other businesses line both sides of the street. The light posts are decorated for the Christmas holiday season. The Gately's store at this location was closed in 1981.

Representing A Bug's Life is Slim the stick-bug. This was the last MOC I built for the tribute. I struggled with how to represent A Bug's Life, since the tiny sizes and organic shapes of the characters are not the most LEGO-friendly.

Representing Toy Story 2 are Utility Belt Buzz Lightyear and the Evil Emperor Zurg in his Zurg-O-Matic Mech. Mortal enemies locked in epic battle or father and son out for a leisurely stroll/fall with style? You decide!
I had several Buzz from the various Toy Story sets, so I hit upon the idea of making a separate character in Utility Belt Buzz with the simple addition of a rubber band.
Zurg's walker is inspired by the Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters Disnelyand ride (or the inferior Disney World Space Ranger Spin), complete with the requisite Z target in the middle of the mech. Shoot it for points!

When I was working on my Celebrating 25 Years of Pixar MOC set, I wanted to use different building styles, scales, and techniques. For Finding Nemo, I ultimately settled on this: a Big, Blue World "snowglobe." The fantastic LEGO ornament pieces contain a miniature search for Nemo, Dory, and Marlin amidst a jellyfish filled-sea.
The build's not much, but conceptually, it reflects the movie and add diversity to the tribute, so I'm still pleased with it.
