Credit for the original design goes to Caleb Smith on Moc Pages. Took that and modified the whole thing to get this!
You’ll see it again in my 13.2 build for the 253rd ;D
If anyone still needs a speeder design or ever wants to use it in the future, feel free to use it and credit me and Caleb Smith! Thank you!
And yes, I used the Lego lance. Tried a few modified/brick built ones but it was too heavy for the elastic :P

Colorado Springs, CO - Another flyover visitor for Graduation Week at the United States Air Force Academy; we had such unusually high moisture in the air this spring that I had never before seen such vapor appear over the surfaces of any of the visiting jets ...
A Tlihi lancer with bonded velociraptor on patrol. The Tlihi are a lizardkin like race who live in a matriarchal society in a city deep in the desert waste lands. The warriors are all female and are bonded with their velociraptor mount from an early age. They fight primarily with lance or bow or using their mounts deadly claws and teeth.
Something a bit different. I've just finished reading JR Matthew's first two Portal to Nova Roma books and wanted to build a Tlihi lancer. I've never been really big into the fantasy genre but I admit to really enjoying the series and am looking forward to the next book being released this weekend!

Check out the new 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer GT! Among some of the changes are 7% lighter 18 inch wheels. Can you spot another change we've made to this model? November 2011.
"I couldn't help but feel angered when I recieved word that we would be going up against Separatist lancer droids with nothing but lances, speeder bikes a sheer luck. It was illogical and a strategy which was bound to end more lives than it would save. If it were up to me I'd take advantage of our air superiority simply wipe out the sep counter attack with close air support from our larties. Yet despite my grievances with the decision I couldn't help but find myself at the FOB mounting a 105 k lancer bike and speeding off to help reinforce Kenobi and his assault. I somehow managed to survive the first wave unscathed with two kills to my name. As we were lining up to engage the second wave of lancer droids I received and urgent from my second command reporting that they were being engaged by lancer droids in a nearby street and were taking heavy casualties, breaking formation I sped off to rescue my men.
It wasn't looking good when I arrived, about five bodies of clones from my First Brigade lay motion less in the street while the remaining troopers fired at approaching speeders from what little cover they could find. Kicking the speeder into gear I raced down a flight of stairs, dodging laser fire from the closest droids blaster. I smashed into the oncoming droids head on immediately destroying the first two droids and causing major damage to my bike. This reckless move left my flank exposed, as I was bringing my speeder around I felt a sharp pain in my side and was suddenly thrown violently through the air and off of my speeder. I landed with a dull thud some twenty or so feet away with enough time to roll to my knees and fire a salvo of bolts at the oncoming droid dispatching it before it could do and serious damage. Glancing at my side I inspected the bloody mess of crumpled plastoid where the droids lance had buried it's self, it appeared to have been a glancing blow, if not I would have been dead. Ignoring the pain I stood and slowly limped towards the closest structure seeking shelter from any more lone lancer droids looking for an easy kill. Sinking to my knees I barely managed to activate my distress beacon before I lost consciousness...

Currently debating whether or not I should upload the build without figs/speeders, because the bikes especially hide a bunch of the detail.
Anyway, photo is a little dark, but oh well.
As always thanks for viewing and have a good one, C&C is appreciated.

The Lancer interceptor was designed with engines first for maximum maneuverability and it remains a standard part of any fleet. Featuring retracting landing gear and a repair robot stored inside it also finds many uses in the field of exploration.
One last build before Brickworld! Hope to see plenty of you there. It's going to be awesome :)

One of my favorite fictional weapons of all time is the Lancer from Gears of War (chainsaw + gun = all sorts of awesome!). Having never done a 1:1 weapon before this was quite a challenge for me. The gun has around 5,000 pieces and took 2 1/2 months to build. This was also displayed at BrickWorld Chicago this summer. After building this, I will definitely be tackling 1:1 again in the future! Huge thanks to Evan Bordessa for photographing this MOC.
