Sunset over Lake Union, as seen from Gas Works Park. Taken in June 2002, the skyline has changed dramatically with the redevelopment of the South Lake Union neighborhood by Amazon, et all.
Taken with a Canon EOS Elan II and Kodak Elite Chrome slide film.
What could be better than take-out pizza and watching the sunset at Gasworks Park?
Happy Slider Sunday!
Really sweet girl, who told me my camera was "cool". She asked a few questions about it. In turn, I asked permission to take this photo of her while she read and promised if it came out okay I would leave a copy for her at the desk on my next visit. :)

Two different people told me I need to update my Flickr more often today, so I guess that's what I am going to do.
A view of Seattle from Lake Union. Process: Made several layer adjustments. Filter layers: Graphic Ink and Watercolor. Added a low opacity layer of the original image blended on overlay on top. Topped it off with a layer of brushed on spot color at a very low opacity. Attempted a modern print for my stepson.
35mm Kodak Kodachrome slide film image of Lake Union, Police boat and the Aurora bridge in Seattle.

This was taken when I went shooting with Doug and Jeff and Gas Works Park in Seattle, Washington. It was really a beautiful sunset but also movement everywhere. People talking, jogging, flying kites... But the sunset only lasted for a few moments and started to leave, perfect moment for me to set up my tripod. This was actually a combination of two shots, I wanted to get more movement than a single shot.
Have a awesome day!
Nathan
Even with COVID19 lurking, the people of Seattle decided to enjoy the beautiful weather at Gas Works Park.
