I caught this lovely little sailboat scene framed by a flourishing weeping willow as I walked past a tiny lot/lakeside beach in Naramata, BC.
This is a more traditional HDR photo that I took the other evening while going for a walk down to the lake. Nikon D300 Nikkor 10-24mm lens 5 exposures and processed in Photomatix Pro.
Kelowna BC.
It's quite windy that evening as you can tell from the wavy texture of the water surface. More photos to come at this location :)

Okanagan Lake BC
Rattlesnake Island is a small island on Okanagan Lake located directly east of Peachland, British Columbia, Canada. The land and shore surrounding the island form part of Okanagan Mountain Park. Legend has it that the lake monster, Ogopogo, lives in a cave on Rattlesnake Island earning the small land mass the nickname "Monster Island".

Lake Okanagan is a long and relatively narrow lake, there're long sections of highway running along both the eastern and western shorelines. On our way returning from Summerland to Kelowna we drove along the western lake shore, and found this litttle pier at one of our stops.

Parasailing on Lake Okanagan in a sunny late afternoon. Parasailing is a recreational activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle, usually a boat, while attached to a specially designed parachute, known as parasail. There are two types of parasailing: aquatic (over water where a motoboat is used) and terrestrial (over land towed by a vehicle, like a jeep) (from Google).
