Another shot of this figure. The character is normally a goddess depicted with white skin, hair and eyes, but this version is mortal, hence the "Alive" in the figure's name.
Phicen Lady Death body and head, hair piece replaced, make-up changed, eye decals added. More of a Raven Hex figure now.

Mustang Sally
H'uh, h'uh
Guess you better slow
Your Mustang down
Oh Lord, what I say now
Mustang Sally, now baby
Oh Lord
Guess you better slow
Your Mustang down
H'uh, oh yeah
You been runnin' all over town, now
Oh, I guess I have to put your flat feet
On the ground
Ha!
What I said, now
Listen!
All you wanna do is ride around Sally
(Ride Sally, ride)
All you wanna do is ride around Sally
(Ride Sally, ride)
All you wanna do is ride around Sally
(Ride Sally ride) hu'h
All you wanna do is a ride around Sally
Alright (ride Sally ride)
Well, listen
Ride Sally.

So even though I had only planned on attending the Con on Sunday I found myself there today as well, we had a great time, saw some friends and just enjoyed taking in the spectacle. I can't believe we are doing it again tomorrow, I'm Beat!
Chaos Comics "Lady Death" Action Figure, "sculpted by Clayburn Moore," based on the character created by Brian Pulido. I'm sure there's gotta be a McFarlane/Gaiman lawsuit involved in there somewhere as well.

Bronze Age Lady Death - Sculpted by Clayburn Moore and Paul Moore.
A supernatural demigoddess of destruction, Lady Death was born during the plague-ridden Dark Ages.
To save her life and ease the pain of betrayal and heartbreak, she gave up her humanity, becoming cold and aloof.
Now she rules a bleak underworld called the Endless Graveyard... but has her sights set on conquering Earth.
I usually wait til the Fall Equinox to start these, but i'm home and bored and couldn't wait.
Dia de los Muertos is a holiday close to my heart. It was a favourite of my son's and mine. Death was a big part of our lives from early on and we had to learn to honour it and look on old La Flaca with humour and acceptance. Now that he's gone, the meaning is obviously much deeper. My acceptance turned to anger and denial and i turned my back on a lot of things, including this. It's taken me a lot of time to be able to pick up the camera again in any real way. Or to celebrate Dia de los Muertos. Now i see how i've cheated myself, and done dishonour to my son. I know he's looking over my shoulder now and smiling at my posing as Lady Death, relieved that i'm finally able to celebrate his life again instead of wanting to die myself.
Traditionally, according to the Aztec calendar the holiday started in August anyway. So, i'm starting these now. These are dedicated to my son James.
RIP, love. These are for you.
La muerte es flaca y no puede conmigo!
