Some rain and wind, and the departure of my weekend volunteers, sent me back into the shop to fashion a custom ladder for a more stable entry. When the bridge is added later in the project, this ladder will become the access point to the second platform.
My recollection is that this fire was problematic in several ways. Ladder 26 broke down (as shown), and the Snorkel was stuck in the muddy yard and had to be pulled out with a tow truck.
