GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN - When the ladder is bare, you can see the striking design more clearly. The shelf doesn't take up much floor space, but it has a BIG impact on a room, in terms of bringing the vintage industrial vibe. We have modified the original design by making the "folding" hinge fixed and solid. The result is a much more stable bookshelf (though it no longer folds up as a ladder would.)

This was for a project based on 'Wrong' i decided to do a story based on two girls who decide to go to the circus but take different paths. One takes the right path and the other takes the wrong path. Initially I was gonna do a book but, inspired by outdoor snakes and ladders (yes random but that's how my brain works) I made two versions of snakes and ladders on A1 - one white, depicting the 'Right' journey and the other black depicting the 'Wrong' journey
Seen in Boiling Springs, VA., is a nice old fire engine, which I believe in American terminology is a ladder pump.
A chimney without any access fixings is probably the hardest to errect ladders up, especially if it if steel chimney! Brick and concrete chimneys you can dill and place a fixing where you want, but a steel chimney you have to throw a wire lashing around it to attach the ladders.
Zarb and Uniondale students participated in a team building workshop at Hofstra University to cultivate their communication skills. The Zarb student organization, shoes and Zarb Women in Business, organized and mentored students as they worked through several activities throughout the day. The first consisted of several warm-up exercises, including telephone, and an activity focused on learning something new about each individual person within the group. Following that, the team worked together to solve a 95 piece puzzle. Lastly, teams were created and had to construct the tallest structure in 10 minutes using only spaghetti and marshmallows. Prizes were then given out to the winning team.

One of the relatives kid's, Madison, got a booklet and string on how to make various string shapes. After trying a number herself, Marna and her friend Diana decided to get into the act. Diana was a bridesmaid at out wedding, and has been struggling with some health problems of late, so it was really nice to be able to hang out with her for the afternoon.
While Madison entertained Paige, Marna and Diana set out to accomplish Jacob's Ladder. I'm not exactly sure just how long they were at it, but it seemed like an eternity. After several repeated attempts they finally nailed it! I was lucky enough to get an official pose for the picture.
