Ladakh is the home to numerous natural wonders, but the most precious gift bestowed upon this magical land is the Chadar Trek. The trek is all about persistence & survival – of learning to survive in the harsh terrains at sub-zero temperatures, interacting with the locals & understanding their way of living, especially in one of the most inhabitable regions in the world, while you trek across a dramatic gorge with frozen waterfalls on the frozen trail of Zanskar spanned out like a “Chadar” it acts as a mirror for the sky!

Got a chance to capture this epic moment while reaching Tso Moriri lake from Leh.

Siachen Glacier lies to the north of the valley. The Sasser Pass and the famous Karakoram Pass lie to the northwest of the valley and connect Nubra with Uyghur (Mandarin : Xinjiang). Previously there was much trade passing through the area with western China's Xinjiang and Central Asia. The people of Baltistan also used the Nubra valley for passage to Tibet.

One of beautiful Lake in India

Ibn Battuta once said, "Travelling - it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller." And such beautiful landscapes are the reason one is left speechless and with so many untold stories.

I photographed this while driving from Leh to Manali during our #Ladakh trip. We had just driven across the most amazing 40kms. of my life, through More Plains and then THIS view stunned us. That is the SumKhel Lungpa river visible right at the bottom there. And this view, you just do NOT want to miss, trust me.

Pangong Lake, located at an altitude of about 13,900 feet in the Himalayas, is famous for its mesmerizing color-changing phenomenon. The lake's waters can shift from shades of blue to green and even grey throughout the day, depending on the sunlight, weather, and angle of view. This natural wonder occurs due to the play of light on the lake’s mineral-rich waters and the high-altitude atmosphere, which enhances the colors. The intensity of the colors is further influenced by the clarity of the water and the lake’s depth.

Pangong Tso, Ladakh

A path carved through still waters and rugged peaks, reminding us that even the harshest landscapes hold the promise of a journey.

Despite being a high-altitude lake at over 14,270 feet, Pangong Tso is saline and freezes completely during winter. Interestingly, due to its high salinity, the lake has no aquatic life or fish, yet it supports a rich population of migratory birds, including Brahminy ducks and seagulls.

silhouettes are my all time favourite. But where do we get interesting subjects as silhouettes everyday? Thousands of miles away, off to Ladakh, I get one of my most favourite silhouette: the double-humped bactrian camels with the majestic arid landscape of Ladakh. Frankly Ladakh is a dream that came true. #hunder #ladakhdiary #incredibleindia

View of beautiful Pangong lake at the height of about 4,350 m (14,270 ft). It is 134 km long and extend from India to china
