GLENDALE, Colo. (Aug. 24, 2019) Day two of the 2019 Armed Forces Rugby Championship hosted by the city of Glendale, Colo. in conjunction with the 2019 Rugbytown Sevens Tournament, held from 23- 25 August. Bought this from Aldi in the smaller 330ml bottle . Label suggests this is a malty chocolate taste with an aroma of caramel and sweet malt . A deep brown porter brewed with real coffee beans. Brewed by Brains under the Gt British Brewing Co label. Alc 4.4% by vol

Appearance
Photo taken just after pouring . Decent white head bubbly in the glass. Dark brown coffee coloured porter. The idea of blending two of the best things in life is certainly a good one and promised much from its appearance.

Taste
There is a decent aroma of coffee hot chocolate like a bed time drink. I like my coffee without sugar and this feels as if someone has added two sugars to it. You certainly get a good taste of coffee and malty fruit raisins, tone down the sweetness and you could be on to a winner. I kinda forgot it was a porter its almost like an after dinner liqueur. Perhaps its aimed at people who don't really like beer or porter and the sweetness is to win over a new market
