24" x 18" Mixed Media on Wood Panel

 

This is the first piece in my "wrenched" series. In order to make this piece I draw traditional calligraphic patterns on dozens of USPS Label 228 labels. The labels are then chopped up and rearranged on wood in extended patterns. Finally, the piece is varnished with glossy gel.
