Sometimes, when the light happens, you just have to stop and take a photo... even if there's no interesting shot there.

Are you a fan of the HBO series Game of Thrones? Are you really looking forward to the new season? Are you wondering if Jon Snow will be back?
If you're anything like me your answers are: Yes! Most definitely!
He has to!
Last week HBO announced that the new season would premiere in April with an awesome poster featuring a bloodied Jon Snow. Talk about juicing the fan base!
The poster is a really cool piece of graphic design - and it immediately started to shake me out of my creative funk.
(Did I mention I was in a creative funk?)
As we all know, inspiration can come from anywhere at any time - and that poster was pure inspiration to me. I enlisted my son Kyle, who has Jon Snow-like hair and features, as my model. I mixed up a batch of "blood" using corn syrup and a few drops of red and blue food coloring, borrowed a faux fur collared coat and got busy...
Winter is coming!
In case you haven't seen the poster...

An eastbound Kyle Railroad train passes the Norton, Kansas, depot on the former Rock Island mainline in northwest Kansas. Power for the train is GP35 2505 and U30B 5796.
Old Rock Island ABS signals are plentiful along this section of the KYLE. There would have been a signal on each side here, although the one on the North side is gone.
This is Kyle from Palatine. Great attitude and very cool character. Have yourself a wonderful Monday full of peace and happiness.

Kyle is fishing! Well, not really because his hooks were covered up as a safety precaution. He didn't know the difference and was having a blast nonetheless.
The small boat harbour of Kyle of Lochalsh is seen in this dusk scene. Four small boats line the pier whilst in the background the illuminated railway station stands out well. Alas, I didn't time it to include the Royal Scotsman service which arrived a little later.
The dark cloud capped hill seen across Loch Alsh in the background is part of the Isle of Skye.

The silence was screaming in lovely Kyle. 💚

I was so amazed by the colors and the still water. Wouldn't you love to jump on this boat or maybe even in this water?

One of the best places in scotland I've been so far and my entry for this weekend's hashtagproject #whpmini as this boat looks like a toy between the huge mountains of the #highlands. 💚it!

Custom Kyle Rayner fig from LeYiLe Brick!
Also if you didn't notice I changed the formating style for my Minifig showcases. What do you guys think? I think it looks a lot better than the plain white background that I had before!
I wanted to try out some fire light shots and I liked the depth of field and birds eye view in this one
A Kyle fleet car still sporting its Illinois Terminal heritage is entrained on a eastbound near Edson Kansas.
Kyle of Lochalsh on 21 June 1980 with 26 035 awaiting departure time with its train for Inverness. No apologies for another posting of Kyle and although the shot is not the sharpest it shows a passenger train with a bogie GUV on the front which was quite common around the time. Also the traditional goods wagons in the yard, 12T vent vans and 16T MCVs loaded with household coal. Note the tail lamp still attached to what would have been the rear wagon of what I think by then was a weekly goods.
