When Father Was Away on Business at Cinema City Film Festival
The story of a boy through whose conscience and feelings stormy fifties are refracted. The time in which he lives is not inclined to him and his father, who works in the Ministry of Work. Intrigues get his father to prison. He is one of the arrested ones, whose guilt was never proven. He is a victim of time in which Yugoslavia found itself, resisting the influence of Stalinism. The boy becomes a witness of many conflicting situations. He will never find out his uncle's role in father's arrest. He will also never know that a woman who gave him his precious football was the main cause for their family misfortune.

The traditional style village of Drvengrad (Kustendorf) and the Hotel Mecavnik (our stop for the night) were in fact constructed in 2002 by director Emir Kusturica for his film 'Life is a Miracle'. Complete with vintage cars.

On board the Šargan train "Mokra Gora" (Serbian: Мокра Гора, meaning the Wet Mountain in English, on the northern slopes of mountain Zlatibor.
Mokra Gora has become popular after a reconstruction of a narrow gauge railway called Šargan Eight which is unique in the world. Its route viewed from the sky, looks like the number 8.
In addition, the well-known Serbian film director Emir Kusturica has also made a contribution to the development of tourism in Mokra Gora. He financed the construction of an ethno village Drvengrad (Timber Town). For this development, Kusturica received the "Philippe Rotthier European Architecture Award" from the Brussels Foundation for Architecture.
