But even as she lay there, the letter in the box crept into her mind. It ended up laying right next to her while she tossed and turned in her sleep.
I would like to start this storyline by thanking my Flickr and Youtube friends for their continued support, and lovely comments that keep me inspired to write my stories. Without you guys, I wouldn't have ever found out how much I love to write and expand on my dolls expansive story lines. I do hope you will continue to support me, and I hope you will also read and support my newest and probably most loved storyline to date, "The Tale of Kitsune and Kumiho". I am so excited to finally start it after planning it for so long. Please enjoy its beginning here below:
THE TALE OF KITSUNE AND KUMIHO
A few weeks ago, when the weather was still cool and the trees had yet to sprout their new leaves, Kitsune the Fox Animagis decided it was a very fine day indeed to sit outside in the cool air and enjoy herself.

"Kitsune, let's tell everyone. Let's tell everyone that Kiko is here, and that he is our son. If anyone asks us why he bears no resemblance to a fox, let's tell them that he is human. I feel that someday, Kiko will outshine us all," Kumiho finished, certainty filling his voice.
Kitsune stared blankly for a moment. She was still unsure of how this reaction came to pass, or why his mind was so resolute on this particular day out of many that they had sat in silence, but her heart filled up with a warmth that she hadn't felt for quite some time, and her eyes welled with tears. She stood up and rushed to his side faster than he could say another word.
A look of relief passed over Kitsune's face. When their son had been born without any sign of being part fox, at first she had been scared of what Kumiho would think. Magic is a finicky thing, and sometimes, things happen for no apparent reason. But now she could clearly see that Kumiho didn't care at all about what powers his son possessed or didn't. He loved him very much...
Kiko is a very peculiar boy. His parents, Kitsune and Kumiho, along with his older sister, Koneko, are all fox Animagii, but poor little Kiko was born with not one magic power that anyone can see. He was born as a human only, and all Animagii are born in their animal form.
Therefore, no one is quite sure how to act around little Kiko. He is a strong little boy, and is very smart, but unless he shows some sort of magic power soon, Kiko is only a human born amongst magic.
Finally, the time was here. Kitsune grabbed Kumiho's hand, Shire shut her eyes and said a little prayer, and Kumiho tried his best to hold his ground and be brave.
Upon reading the words that Kumiho had written, Kitsune fell to the ground. Tears spilled from her eyes and her ears drooped down. She was stuck somewhere between great joy and relief, and total nerve splitting shock.

Kumiho is ready. He has been working many months on this shop, and he is so pleased to finally have it opening.
She picked it up slowly. and without any enthusiasm. She had quite lost her excitement of the beautiful day with the reappearance of painful memories that she had for so long buried deep down inside.

Thinking of renaming her Gumiho 구미호, the Korean nine tailed fox:
"It's a creature that appears in the oral tales and legends of Korea. According to those tales, a fox that lives a thousand years turns into a kumiho (or gumiho), like its Japanese and Chinese counterparts. It can freely transform, among other things, into a beautiful woman often set out to seduce boys, and eat their liver or heart".

There are many myths surrounding the legend of the fox spirits. Some say they are benevolent, others say they eat human hearts or livers! oki tokki’s Flower Foxes may be a little mischievous, but they would never hurt anyone. They love drinking tea, eating udon and frolicking.
A fox spirit gains one tail every 100 years, nine tails being the wisest & strongest. What’s so special about these two is that their tails have markings of flowers! There is a さくらきつね Sakura Kitsune (cherry blossom) and a 무궁화 구미호 Mugunghwa Kumiho/Gumiho (rose of sharon)! They are inseparable best friends.
Kumiho stared at her for a bit, but didn't say anything. He could tell that she was about to tell him something, so he stayed quite quiet.
And with that, Riddle and little Rhyme flee the school and continue on with their day without a care in the world.
