I love unique custom Lego minifigure heads! This one was created by Dennis Taylor (@krashes_kustoms on IG) for this years Toy Photographers meetup.
Snatched up this custom eight ball minifigure from Dennis Taylor (@Krashes_Kustoms on IG. I love how he creatively finds faces in random objects. I shot this on location under my boys bunk bed. I used my oldest sons magic eight ball for the “mother” and my other sons litebright as a base. The background on the right are magnet balls stacked to form a wall. I thought they sort of resembled the eight balls and had great reflections and bokeh. I used two Litra Torches with color gels to get the dual tones. The blue haze come from the light reflecting off the front of the lens. I thought it added a bit to the atmosphere of the shot. Overall I’m quite happy with the results of this 15minute morning shoot before work.🎱👌

Something lurks Deep in the mossy wood. Mr. CRT dropped from the giant bird perch to find himself surrounded by green. Everywhere he looked came alive with sounds and movement. The air heavy and dank - these woods were old. He cautiously, silently, crept through the underbrush; he did not want to meet the makers of those nests...

While collecting samples of a strange radiating ore found near the valleys edge, CRT was suddenly engulfed in a blinding, mind numbing light. Without warning, the hardpan floor became clear as he gazed into the depths of the earth below him. While taking in the grandeur of it all he abruptly found himself in the pitch black night again gazing at the stars above... 😦🤔
