The iconic surfie van sits outside a surf shop in Launceston. This one has been here for quite some time. It became extremely popular in the 1960s. Brazil was actually the last place in the world to continue production of this vehicle until 2013.
Old kombis are cool from any angle, inspired by Chris Hohnke's very cool ratty kombi photo today.

The Renault Express was a light commercial car with a Renault Supercinq front (until the A-pillar).
The Express was the successor of the 1972-1988 R4F4 and 1975-1985 R4F6 series.
Renault Extra and Rapid were other names given to the Express on certain markets.
The Express was available as a closed panel van, or as in this case, as a kind of estate version with five seats.

An older model with very simple interior and lightweight vinyl seats and no headrests. Very clean inside.
