Beautiful little baby leaves as well as both female and male flowers - so much going on all at once! I'm lucky and don't suffer from any allergies so can fully enjoy all the budding new life surrounding us.

A smaller structure, Niliaitta is for food storage (protects food from wild animals). The larger building (Kammi) is used for smoking fish. The river flowing next to it is the Vindel and it flows freely. The salmon rises in the river.

Le train de nuit PYO 273 Helsinki - Rovaniemi est observé alors qu'il approche la gare de Koivu, en Laponie. La photo est prise lors d'une belle et fraîche matinée de septembre au bord du fleuve Kemijoki, le plus grand cours d'eau de Finlande. En tête de ce convoi d'une longueur de 341 mètres, se trouve la Sr2 3232 des chemins de fer finlandais VR. En queue de celui-ci, on peut apercevoir un wagon de type Gd dédié au transport de voitures. Le train arrivera à la ville du père Noël un peu moins de quarante minutes plus tard, soit douze heures après être parti de la capitale du pays.

Liekkiö is an ancient finnish deity of plants. Mikael Agricola (1551) tells: Lieckiö rules over roots, plants and other things like that.

The sun just shone appropriately from the crevices of the clouds, illuminating the autumn-colored trees and shrubs. The rain clouds were already hanging on the horizon and after while it was already raining. The picture was taken in Vantaa rapids in mid-October 2021 (DSC02922-2).
