Oh. My. God. -- Humongous thanks to Harris for the tickets: Row FF, about 20 feet behind Magic. It was an unimaginable experience.
Ironically, I was busted for my borderline-legal camera; The manual zoom extends way past the 3-inch limit, but luckily the usher was very cool. She warned me that they monitor people's cameras via video but as long as I kept the zoom in I'd be fine.
I was lucky to get a few great tight shots early on but was too paranoid to shoot much else. And I almost brought the little Canon A510....

i had fun attending my first championship parade. it wasn't perfect because i wasn't able to get photos of all the players. it looks like they had set it up so some players faced the north side of figueroa and some the south side of figueroa on the bus which mean depending on which side you were... you would only see some of the lakers and miss out on the rest. i was happy that kobe bryant was facing the side that i was on but at the same time i was disappointed i couldn't get photos of fisher, odom, gasol and artest. ah well...
