This hat is a super simple design on purpose! I'll be teaching a group of grade 6 girls to knit soon so they can make hats for the homeless! They'll make one hat for themselves and one to donate. This hat only requires the knit stitch and k2tog. The trickiest part, I think, will be using DPNs to shape the crown. The rest will be done on a circular. Rough day. Took some time to dig through stash for a yarn that will go with the green inner brim I’d already knit. (Had to change my plans to use a Must Stash self striping, since I’d lose too much of the stripe effect.) Hope this 50g of Miss Babs leftovers is enough to finish.

5 Midas hats headed to the local-ish cancer center. Someone I know is 3 months post-chemo, and she offered to take them when she has checkup appointments there. I need to knit faster, and add the Sockhead hat back into rotation.

Finished! My gauge was tighter when I redid the end of the right glove so it's a little shorter than the left. 😕 But it's still going to keep my hand warm. Not bad for the 1st knitting I've done in years & they went pretty fast too. 😊
