The Smile on Saturday group’s theme for today, 12/18, is ‘reflection in a knife’. Took a bit of finagling but I think I got it!! Now to go look at the group pool and see if someone else had a similar idea. I try not to look before I post……

….(btb, tricky to do this with older stainless utensils that might not stain or get tarnished but can sure be scratched.)

Created by artist Alfie Bradley, at the The British Ironwork Centre. Made of more than 100,000 knives confiscated from 43 police forces across the UK.

My husband bought this knife in Sedona and it is so unique. He collects small knives and I think this one with the quartz blade is my favorite.

Macro Mondays - Sharp / Crazy Tuesday - Made of Metal

I have to say that in addition to being literally sharp, I also find this antique, beautifully crafted J.A. Henckels Friodur jack knife to be very sharp looking. It has been handed down through our family over the years and I have it displayed on a table with family photos and memorabilia.

For looking close on Friday

Do you still meet them (even by chance)?

Made with 100K surrendered knives, around 30% of them arrived bloodstained.

The friendliest knife I know:-)

Macro Mondays theme of the week is: Contained. The knife contains many useful tools.

I was on my way to Jackfish Lake near Cochin, Sask., and stopped in the town of Cut Knife for gas. I had never been there before, so I took a little drive into the town. In addition to soe classic old grain elevators, the main street also has a good number of interesting looking old buildings. Another place that may warrant another longer visit!

which end of the knife will you be taking
