So it's in Uganda that I've realized that "Pumbaa" litterally means warthog and "Simba" means lion :-p
The clergy played a leading role in civil rights campaigns. Being familiar with their communities and congregations they had their finger on the pulse. Fred Shuttlesworth worked with out of town ministers Martin Luther King, Jr. and others including groups of rabbis from New York. This, and a number of other sculptures populate Kelly Ingram Park adjacent to the 16th Street Baptist Church where 4 young girls were killed by a racially motivated bombing in 1963.
