At the Klong San area of Bangkok there is a nicely renovated mansion, previously belonging to a Chinese merchant. Today a tourist attraction with shops and restaurants.

Wat Thong Noppakhun, Klong San Bangkok, with its very characteristic windows in the ubosot. They resembles portholes of a ship, as a tribute to the Chinese merchants involved in the trade between Thailand and China.

Day 2 - 4th piece. This Chinese community was vibrant and full of life with shops and hawker stalls sprawling over the narrow roads. It was just next to the Princess Mother Memorial Park.

Yentafo (in Thai) or Yong tau foo(in chinese), the Thai version is a kind of noodle filled tofu paste (red color) with fish ball, pork, river spinach etc.
