This one was easy to make.
Bought some black shiny buttons today.
His face.. maybe a little bit too large, lol.
actually it must be called lazy..because..i could place the rose more in light, or upper my iso, or get the flash...but hey im lazy from time to time..;D
Cold and wet weekend. Good time to get the macro out for a play and daydream of travel (and throw the notion that I might only be interested in boats....)
A few more from a rainy Sunday kitchen-table photo shoot. Still dreaming of travel or even some warmer weather would do.
AKA: "You ice it, it's yours." That's our policy with the little ones at Granny's house as every time they dip their knife in a bowl of icing we see it then go straight into their mouths. The cousins got together and decorated dozens of sugar cookies at my mom's yesterday. Lots of hard work, lots of icing and way too many sprinkles. A good day!
This was an acrylic painting that I did in the mid-seventies of my mother-in-law and myself. It was a really tall painting - like seven feet or so. All that is left of this painting is this somewhat out of focus photograph (the out-of focus look probably adds rather than distracts from the picture). The pose and setting was heavily influenced by Andrew Wyeth - especially the bent-over wire hanger right above Clara's head.
My brother was making fun of me because of this photo. Because the ants took about 3 hours to realise there was honey for them at the kitchen table.
He said: "Give up, Anna, the ants want only the honey they can't get on pots hahahahah"

I was going to tell about popular beliefs of valentine's day in Brazil (that is on june 12th, and actually is Saint Anthony's day). But I'm not in the mood today... =/
I was flickring around yesterday and found my clone photo on other three streams. Some people, some time ago, had asked me permission to upload and blog photos of mine. I granted permission, my name and link to my stream were mentioned, but this time, not only they didn't ask for permission, there was one stream that actually had 5 other pictures of mine. In two of them, they were pretending THEY had taken the pictures, and in the one that had 5 photos, I was his "hot girlfriend that rides like a horse". Followed by some other nasty agravating titles and comments.
This made me feel so... STOLEN and insulted! And if you saw my answers to a certain troll on my "somebody help" photo, you know how I can make a point and the photos were deleted, actually, one of the accounts was deleted... I wish I had copied my "kind requests of removal" hehehehe
well, since I have no idea for how long this have been happening, nor how many people have done it, but surely don't want to see it happening again, I most sadly won't display all sizes anymore.

I used my cell phone flashlight to light the characters from above and to the left of this.
Still learning to photograph indoors.
Testing out a new kitchen table setup at home using an artist's model hand and a black fibre optic brush. Shot in one photographic exposure, the bokeh tonight was driving me crazy!
