The winter solstice 'king tide' is generally the highest of the year. As you can see there isn't much room for sea level rise. Within a few decades this will be an ordinary tide and the king tide will come much higher.

The pictograph photo is of paintings done on the rocks, they were painted in a sheltered area, where they were protected from the rain, wind and tides, the water is inches away from the paintings, one of the paintings is a one of a kind, there is nothing like it anywhere in the world

Where's the parking lot? Looks like erosion won out over pavement. Note the logs in the surf pounding the shoreline. This is the entrance to Esquimalt Lagoon between bridge and DND property. High tide of 3.0m plus storm surge of about 0.5m. "Normal" high tide range is 2.1 to 2.6m.
