⭐️Thank you in Advance for your kind ‘Faves’ and visits they are so very much appreciated. 👍
I cannot always ‘Thank’ everyone individually, for their visits and ‘Faves’ however, I will always try to respond and thank all those that leave a ‘Comment’.
Your 'Comments' do not always appear in 'Notifications' or Flickr mail, so, I am sorry for any delay in responding. Often your 'Comment' is only spotted 'On the Page' on the day, that I see it. (seen ONLY when replying to someone HAS 'Commented' on the image)

A passenger casts a long shadow as he walks by LNER DVT 82201 as it sits under the magnificent roof at London Kings Cross station.
Just before taking the escalator down to platforms 2 and 3 at King's Cross station, I took a quick snap from the footbridge. As I did the 05.48 LNER service from Edinburgh Waverley arrived into platform 4.
Whatever way one arrives, it makes for a grand entrance underneath the fine Great Northern Railway overall roof.

The arrival or departure of services in Kings X always produces a good number of passengers who require assistance. Many will be tourists who aren't familiar with our rail procedures.
Photographed under the glorious trashed roof at Kings X whilst I was en route to Stansted to catch my flight out to Romania.
That rattle and whoosh - I can hear it now.........what a brilliant noise the Deltics made, so unique......

THE 'Deltic' website, well worth a look!

Something from '14.
The ceiling is so in-your-face impressive here that it's more point-and-shoot with an element of cropped composition as the only token of creativity..

On my last visit to London with my good friend Jaykay we both saw and took this shot. I like the way that the orange handle of her suitcase pops as well as the light falling on the column.

Taken with my iphone, which does occasionally produce decent results.
Here's my longer guide to taking decent photos with an iphone (or other low res camphone):
