Fuji. Kay so I was in the Macy's bathroom with my mom, and everything is this weird off white color. The lights were the odd florecent kind you see in horror movies. I was freaked out. I mean how creepy can a bathroom be, right? WRONG. I was just waiting for someone to kill me.

I just keep trying to imagine what would happen if the Red Sox did something like this. Little girls doing pelvic thrusts between innings on the field... "disastrous backlash" is really the only thing that comes to mind. Possibly this is a cultural Miami/Boston divide and my brain is just not capable of making the leap to a place where this is OK.

I meant to upload this on Thanksgiving because that's when I took it but then I got lazy. Like always. Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare came out on Tuesday! But I'm not getting it until tomorrow and probably won't get to read it until Sunday because I still haven't finished Clockwork Angel. I real CA when it first came out, which was a while ago, and I totally forgot what happened so I'm refreshing my memory a bit.
I passed my behind-the-wheel test on Wednesday so that means I officially get my license on June 3, 2012!
I'm working on a research project for English which is totally killing me. My topic is, "Is a career in the medical field right for me?" My research is going fine, and I'm interviewing an anesthesiologist tomorrow, and hopefully a nurse on Sunday. (I interviewed my cousin who's a surgical tech last Saturday.) I'm just worried about writing the whole paper, which is due next Friday. We're also finishing up our layouts in Yearbook and that's also stressful. Oh, and we began the Trigonometry part in my Alg II/Trig class today. KILLMENOW. I hated anything to do with sines, cosines, and tangents in Geometry last semester. Can I please have my lovely logarithms?

Endless meeting I could not escape from.
Apologies for the really terrible picture, but I didn't have time all day to pick up my SLR. (It sat in my hotel room the whole 2 days.... ignored & unloved)
This is taken with my iPhone towards the end of the . first day of a 2 day off-site management mtg. By this stage I was ready to feign death or chew my leg off to escape.
My apologies, but this off camera strobe stuff is driving me freakin' nuts. Not to mention sleep deprivation. I can't tell if all the camera shake is the 4 gallons of coffee that I'm using to stay awake or what. The sad part is that I shot off 60+ shots and got 2 that are almost usable and I could have gotten it done in about 6 shooting available darkness. Didn't have gels to match lights (mix of tungsten and strobe), this is after I chickened out and went TTL after blowing a bunch on the manual setting on the flash. I guess that's why they call it a learning curve.

So.. I got the nifty 50... 3 filters... a 2 gig cf card... and my Rebel XTi is somewhere around Pennsylvania and won't be delivered till tomorrow... Their making me nuts!
