My dear friends, today I want to share with you a new project, an idea that since a long time is growing in my mind. Since I started to taking pictures, I was fascinated, besides the majestic mountain landscapes who I am used to capturing by other subjects apparently less “significant” for example a small church in the countryside, a small stream hidden in the trees or a small detail captured between the branches. Subjects that described as they are may appear too simple, but if rightly observed, they can leave us speechless, at least here's the thing about me.
Since one year, thanks to your support I having the chance to travel a little more compared to the beginning of my career and is happening more and more to wander in remote areas like a wanderer. A wanderer who is traveling without a destination but who focus his attention searching something elusive, a detail, something of ephemeral that too easily we leave behind us following other objectives.
Since I was a student, I always loved the concept of “Wanderer” in the german romantic imagination: the wanderer in the philosophy of this particular period of history is not only someone who travel to a physical destination but the man on his way trying to find himself, he exist and live surrounded, oneself with the nature.
I realized of archiving shots made in this status of harmony with the nature that probably from a commercial point of view are less interesting, can’t be considered “killer shots” collecting thousands of likes, but for me they have a great value, so I decided to create a dedicated gallery on my website, I am talking about the “Wanderer Gallery”

I hope this project can be of interest for you and appreciate other aspects of my work.
Thank you, my friends
Enrico
with this announcement i want to share the first picture of this gallery

Freeman lake is located in North Chelmsford. Freeman Lake Beach is one of Chelmsford's prime places to relax on a lazy summer day. Visitors can swim in the lake, sunbathe on the smooth sand, or even examine the critters living in the area. The beach is located adjacent to Varney Playground, so when the kids are finished swimming, it's only a short walk to the swings and monkey bars.

This cooling tower is part of a larger powerplant I visited in 2012, but this is already being dismantled. When I visited the plant back in 2012 it was on the same day that we got caught by police in the location before the powerplant. We drank a pint and hit for the powerplant anyway, but the cooling tower was too much for that day.
It took me almost a year to visit it. I have seen other cooling towers from the inside, so that was not my goal. This is the only not-working cooling tower where you can get a killershot by creeping underneath the belly of the beast…
It took us some efforts to get in, but we got where we came for!

Ik lig op m'n rug in het gras
En aanschouw de maan
Ik vraag haar of zij misschien weet
Waarom wij bestaan
Waarom we worden geboren
En straks weer gaan
Maar ze zwijgt
En kijkt me lachend aan
Chorus:
Laat me zien
Waar ik voor leef
Laat me voelen
Wat ik geef
Een moment zodat ik weet
Dat alles niet voor niets is
Dat alles niet voor niets is
Geweest
