Thistle may not be a weed to some or it may, but it is a beautiful flower and has many childhood memories of sticking to you and having sticky thistle pod fights with your siblings or friends, it does for me :) Here is my entry to this week's @spoonflower challenge called "In the weeds" - my entry Thistle Magic reflects these memories. Hope you enjoy, thank you for voting if you do. This design and coordinates are available at my Spoonflower store now on fabric, wallpaper and other home décor products :) xo
This week @spoonflower the challenge asks to design a maximalist folk pattern, with abundance of colour and elements from the nature, influenced by Scandinavian Folklore. This is my entry "Maximalist Folk Tale" - voting has begun. I appreciate if you vote for my design, it helps me get recognized and grow my small business. This will be available on fabric, wallpaper and other home décor on my Spoonflower store soon :) Thank you 😍

We took a bizarre triangular space and converted it into an opportunity for fun. Enjoy a production directed by your child as you sit in the adjoining toy room. Either that or make the space into a purposeless hole for storing things you should probably donate or throw.

Designers go Playground was presenting a simple but very smartly designed modular furniture system by Johan Orbeck-Aase. Basically, thick birch ply units in 80 cm and 40 cm lengths fit together in a variety of configurations for storage, seating--and dollhouse use. The dollhouse room dividers slide right into the shelf, and lightweight balcony and staircase add-ons slip on and off with ease. The box unit system makes it a bit heavy, or solid, I guess. They're looking for distributors and retailers in the US.
