Some other celebrities who constantly invade my home are the Disney princesses. What could represent a princess better than a full twirl top? Of course, the top is long enough to be worn as a dress alone, but it was cuter to add the denim capris and applique a different princess on both sides of each leg. The golden crown appliqued to the bib of the top has sparkly rhinestones, and the buttons on the straps look like glass jewels.

These patriotic outfits are red white and blue all over. The three-tier twirl skirt is made of three different fabrics. The halter top has ruffle trim and shirred back. My girls loved these outfits, and wore them until they were too small. They were perfect outfits for July Fourth.

My mom and dad would occasionally drive us down from Milford, Connecticut to the the Hall of Science museum, not too far from the grounds of the '64 World's Fair. We would spend the day here, then drive over to the where the World's Fair used to be and have a picnic.
At 8 years old and quite an astronomy fan, I thought this place was the COOLEST! They even showed a film about how in the future, something called a "Space Shuttle" will allow people to easily travel up to an orbiting space station and explore the stars! Pretty neat stuff for a young kid. It all seemed so plausible at the time.
